If you are recently engaged and want a spring wedding you can absolutely plan a wedding in four months. You are excited about getting married and having your special day so why wait a year and a half to plan your wedding! This goes for anyone getting engaged at any time of the year and wants their dream wedding in their favorite season or just can’t wait to be married.
Save the dates were sent out for September 8th, 2018. They had a vision of a backyard wedding that was relaxed and casual with family and friends. The simple wedding that almost every couple asks for! Their wedding venue was at Aggie’s family home and it had been on the market for a while. After save the dates were sent out the house had a buyer and now they needed to find a new venue. That is when I first met Paul and Aggie and felt heartbroken for the situation they were now going through. I knew we would be able to give them a wedding that would surpass all of their wishes. After meeting with them they booked with us two weeks later.
Here are some important tips that they took to make this wedding happen in four months:
- Booking a venue that is all inclusive is a great way to make the planning process simple. Here at Anthony’s Pier 9 we include place cards, dinner menus, linens, your wedding cake and so much more! Having your ceremony and reception all in one location makes everything easy for you and your guests.
- Once the venue is booked the next step is to secure your vendors. With a short amount of time it may be a challenge to secure your wedding professionals. Ask your event coordinator at Anthony’s Pier 9 for a recommended list of vendors that would work best with your vision. Check out our recommended vendor list pros.bonurahospitality.com
- You should always add personal touches to your wedding. A great place to start is Pinterest, Etsy and wedding planning websites like Zola. You are able to create cake toppers, creative guest sign, invitations and even décor you’re your head table. Typically you can receive your designs in a few months. This creates an image that you may have been planning your wedding for over a year when it has only been a couple of months!
- Typically save the dates should go out when you book your venue and invitations should go out 2-3 months prior to the wedding. When you are planning a wedding in a few months, there is not time for invitations! We are in the digital era so group chats, Facebook groups, and digital wedding invitations are the best way to give your guests time to plan.
Their simple backyard vision had suddenly turned into an elegant ballroom wedding. They had beautiful centerpieces and floral décor for their ceremony all done by a close friend. They made a custom cake topper that truly represented them as a couple as well as a unique and fun guest book Jenga. They even incorporated their backyard feel with their first look, outdoor garden ceremony and sparkler send off at the end of the night! This is how you can turn your dream wedding into reality with Anthony’s Pier 9 in just four months.
